Installation
First of all, click "Add new module" at modules tab on back office. You will find it in the top right. After that, select packaged file you have downloaded and click "Upload file". Now your module appears on modules list. Click on "Install", and "Configure" next.
You can also unload .zip file and upload it into your modules directory. In this way you will install and configure module from modules admin.
Caractéristiques
On the main page, you can show featured promotions to your customers with limited time. Next promotions may also appear.
Each promotion has its own page or rather is associated with a category to take advantage of its design.
All the products of the promotion can be shown with the corresponding discount and with a countdown.
On the product page, just below the price, the customer is also informed of the time remaining for the offer to end.
In the Backoffice menu, within the "Catalog" tab, this module adds a new link that allows you to manage promotions.
The administrator can see a list of all the promotions created.
In this list, at a glance, it is possible to see:
- The promotion identifier.
- The promotion name.
- The discount (%).
- The start date.
- The start time.
- The end date.
- The end time.
- The creation date.
- The update date.
- The status.
Promotions can be activated, deactivated, modified, deleted and view.
The "view" button allows you to view all the information about the promotion.
- Name.
- Image.
- Start date.
- End date.
- Creation date.
- Update date.
- Discount.
- Status.
- If it is featured in home page.
- If it is an next promotion.
On this page you have the possibility to return to the list of promotions, deactivate, activate or edit the promotion and view it on the front.
In addition, you have the possibility to search for products in the catalog to add them to the promotion.
A list of the promotional products is also displayed on this page.
In this list you can see:
- The product identifier.
- The product reference.
- The product name.
- The price without reduction.
- The final price.
- The reduction.
- The quantity available.
- The status.
Products can be deactivated or removed from the promotion.
The module configuration can be divided into 3 sections.
In the general settings you can:
- Indicate in which position the promotions will be shown. Currently, it can be positioned on the home page, in the main content (above) and in the main content (below).
- Decide if the promotion image will be the same as the image on the category page.
- Show countdown in product listings.
- Show countdown on the product page.
- Deactivate products when the promotion has ended.
For featured promotions it is possible to:
- Enable featured promotions.
- Show the discount percentage.
- Sort by: promotion identifier, discount, name, start date, end date, creation date, update date or random.
- In format: ascending or descending.
- Indicate the maximum number of promotions to show.
- Show the promotion name.
- Show the price range of the promotion (max. and min.).
- Show the promotion countdown.
- Indicate the number of columns in large devices.
- Indicate the number of columns in medium devices.
- Indicate the number of columns in small devices.
For the next promotions it is possible:
- Enable the next promotions.
- Show the discount percentage.
- Sort by: promotion identifier, discount, name, start date, end date, creation date, update date or random.
- In format: ascending or descending.
- Indicate the maximum number of promotions to show.
- Show the promotion name.
- Show the promotion countdown.
- Indicate the number of columns in large devices.
- Indicate the number of columns in medium devices.
- Indicate the number of columns in small devices.
This module has a script that can be configured on your server to run every x time. Ideally, it can be run every 5 seconds.
This script is responsible for activating promotions when their start date arrives and deactivating promotions when their end date has expired.
Recommandations
This module is fully compatible with themes that have been developed with the Bootstrap 3.0 or higher technology. With other templates may need to do some adaptation.
