In the default installation of PrestaShop there is less chance to enhance the view and improve user experience as there is no way to add some rich element like gallery and slider.     • Installation

    If you have already downloaded the product from your Addon account then you should have a zip of the module which you can install using either method listing following.

  • Go to the back-office of your PrestaShop installation. Then go to the “Module Selection” menu under “Modules” menu. There you will see a button “Install a module”. Just click on it and pick the zip file you have just downloaded from the addon store and the installation process will be done. After successful installation you will see “PINAC Gallery” sub-menu under “Design” menu.
  • The other method is you can extract the “pinacgalleryslider” folder from the zip you have downloaded from the Addon store. Then you need to upload that entire folder to the /modules/ directory of your PrestaShop installation. For this you must have FTP access of your installation server. After uploading the module go to the back-office of your PrestaShop and navigate to the “Module Catalog” sub-menu under “Modules” tab and find for “pinacgalleryslider” and hit the “Install” button and the module will be installed. After successful installation you will see “PINAC Gallery” sub-menu under “Design” menu.

    Custom installation:
                Suppose you want any slider display apart from CMS page, product description or category description then you need to place [pinacgalleryslider id =] in your template file and it will generate the gallery or slider based on your configuration from back-office. Don’t forget to replace ID_OF_GALLERY with id of gallery or slider from back-office or simply copy the short-code and paste it in the template file.

  • This module use override of “ps_customtext” module which allows you to add gallery and/or slider on your homepage.
  • The module can add one or more galleries, one or more sliders, it can add both galleries on sliders on CMS page, Product page, Category page and Home page without doing any extra effort. But as its name implies ‘PINAC Gallery and Slider Everywhere’ you can add any gallery or slider to anywhere in your shop. Which will be explained in “Custom installation” section of this document.
  • You can resize thumbnails anytime you wish for particular gallery.
  • Drag and drop file upload with multiple file upload at the same time.
  • You can sort images by drag and drop them within grid of gallery or order of image in the slider.
