Prestashop Payment Method Fee and Discount module enables you to offer discount or add processing fee for specific payment methods. You can trigger additional fee or discount based on customer groups, order amount, products, and more.

Why you need payment fee/discount module:

Some payment method charge additional fee when the payment is made from different country or it order amount exceed specific threshold. If the fee is not passed to the customer, the merchants have to bear these extra fees. For stores where the margins are thin, such fees can make the orders expensive for merchants by taking away the profit.
Instead of adding that fee to product price or order total makes it less practical as it will make the product look over priced compared to competitors. This is where our extension can help, you can add additional fee to any payment method and trigger it based on various conditions like order amount, customer group, product in cart and more.
With this module, you can also offer discounts on specific payment methods, this will encourage customers to use the method that best suits your business needs in terms of fee, payment dates more.

Discount types:

You can add fee/discount in percentage, fixed amount or both. You can also choose to apply percentage to total order amount before or after taxes.

  • Order Amount Selection: Add minimum and maximum order amount to apply discount

  • Customer Group Selection: Select user roles for which you want to apply discount/fee
  • Product Selection: Select individual products – when any of the select product is in cart the discount/fee will be applied
  • Category Selection: Select categories – when any of the product in cart belongs to the selected category(ies), the discount/fee will be applied
  • Manufacturer Selection: Select Manufacturer – when any of the product in cart belongs to the selected manufacturer, the discount/fee will be applied
  • Supplier Selection: Select Supplier – when any of the product in cart belongs to the selected Supplier, the discount/fee will be applied
